If you wish to cancel a project before work begins, you must notify us in writing via email at info@customgenies.ca or by calling (647) 993-1912.
Cancellation requests made after work has commenced may result in charges based on the progress of the project.
We reserve the right to cancel a project under circumstances including:
Unforeseen structural or safety issues.
Client non-compliance with agreed terms or failure to make payments.
Supplier shortages or uncontrollable external factors.
In such cases, refunds (if applicable) will be processed based on the work completed.
A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure project scheduling and materials.
Deposit amounts and terms will be clearly outlined in the service agreement.
Refunds will be considered under the following conditions:
Before project commencement: Partial refunds may be issued, deducting administrative and planning costs.
After project commencement: Refunds are subject to work completed, labor costs, and materials already purchased.
The following are non-refundable once purchased or ordered:
Custom materials or special-order items.
Permits or third-party fees.
Completed labor and service charges.
Clients may request change order to a project timeline, subject to feasibility and additional costs.
Rescheduling must be requested at least 15 days in advance to avoid penalties.
